Hi, Welcome to Olive & Iris!
Olive & Iris is a homeware brand for people who like pieces with character — the kind of things that feel personal, textural, and a little harder to find.
We source handwoven homeware, vintage textiles and rare finds from Thailand and Southeast Asia. Some pieces are made for everyday life: rattan baskets, bamboo trays, natural fibre wall art and handwoven objects for the home.
Some are pieces we may only find once — vintage Hmong embroideries, hill tribe textiles and market discoveries we may never come across again.
Everything is chosen for the way it feels in a home. Warm, useful, unusual, and worth keeping.
Not everything here was made to match.
That is the point.
Olive & Iris began with the pieces I couldn’t stop thinking about.
I’m Omm, the founder, and I split my time between Bangkok and London. Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time moving through markets, small workshops and makers’ studios across Thailand and Southeast Asia — looking for the pieces that feel a little harder to find.
The basket with the better weave.
The textile tucked away at the back of a stall.
The object that doesn’t look like everything else.
Olive & Iris grew from that instinct: looking slowly, asking questions, returning to the same makers and markets, and choosing pieces that feel worth keeping.
Today, we bring handwoven homeware, vintage textiles and rare finds from Thailand and Southeast Asia to homes in the UK and beyond — with each piece chosen in person wherever possible.
There are two kinds of pieces at Olive & Iris.
The Collection is made up of everyday pieces for the home: rattan baskets, bamboo trays, natural fibre wall art, handwoven textiles and useful objects made with care.
They are pieces to live with — to use, move around, touch, store things in, hang on walls, and let age naturally over time.
The Find is where the rarer pieces live.
Vintage Hmong embroidery. Hill tribe textiles. One-off market discoveries. Pieces that existed before we found them, and may not appear again once they are gone.
Some pieces are simple. Some are unusual. Some are imperfect in the best way.
We like that mix.
We believe a home does not need to look perfect to feel beautiful.
It can be layered, warm, practical, personal and a little unexpected. It can hold pieces from different places, different hands and different moments in time.
Olive & Iris is for people who collect slowly. People who notice details. People who want their home to feel like their own, not like a page from a catalogue.
A home should have things worth keeping.
That is what we look for.
